It appears for now that the war of disses between Odd Future captain Tyler The Creator and Grand Hustle rapper B.o.B are nothing more than friendly and competitive love taps. The same may not be said for Bruno Mars and the foul mouthed rapper however.
The underground rap sensation of the moment visited with Hot 97 radio hosts Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and K. Foxx for the morning show segment and addressed his much ballyhooed verse on the track “Yonkers” in which he targeted B.o.B and crooner Bruno Mars' smash hit “Airplanes” by uttering the lines, “I'll crash that f-----g airplane that that f----t n----a B.o.B is in/and stab Bruno Mars in his g--damn esophagus,” from Tyler’s lead single off his second solo album Goblin.
Tyler claimed that he has no issue with the Decatur, Georgia talent and in a curse word laden appearance of he and his crew’s first time on major radio, the OFWGKTA leader Tyler said he wasn’t dissing B.o.B. “It wasn’t a dis on my behalf,” said the gravel-voiced Tyler. “I just hate the f----ing song. It’s not a beef or anything, it’s whatever.” When asked about his feelings on Bruno Mars, Tyler was less diplomatic. “I hate that guy,” said Tyler to K.Foxx. He continued, “Have you see his face? You don’t want to hit him?”
Bruno Mars didn’t take Tyler’s tough talk from “Yonkers” too seriously and he addressed the dis line in a recent interview with Spin.com saying, “Oh, man. How did I feel about it? That's what comin' up is," said the crooner. "You pick up some fans and a handful of haters along the way.”
